PfCONA: Jan. 15th Neighborhod Leader Roundtable Meeting (rescheduled from Jan. 8th)
For more than one reason, the meeting has been rescheduled. Sorry for any inconvenience. Please make plans to attend next week instead. Be sure to go to www.pfcona.org/HowTo.htm to download a member application for 2007 and bring to meeting.
What: PfCONA NEIGHBORHOOD LEADER ROUNDTABLE
When: Monday, January 15th, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm or so
Where: Pflugerville Justice Center, 1611 E. Pfennig Ln.
Why: To bring together Pflugerville neighborhood and civic leaders* for dialogue and updates on important neighborhood/community issues
How: Make the choice to be there to participate--bring a board member/block contact/captain, and/or neighbor. Come early and/or stay after to meet/chat with one another.
Agenda: Direction and calendar for the year and pending community issues will be discussed, including PfCONA Executive Committee elections.
Nominating committee recommendations include: Pat McCord, PfCONA Chair; Angel Hernandez (Vice Chair); and Ellen Bailey (Secretary/Treasurer). Other board member positions up for appointment include: Communication Chair (Clay Leben seeks reappointment); Safety Chair (Chris Carmon seeks reappointment); Membership Services (volunteer sought); and Special Events (volunteer sought). Consideration begin given to additional co-vice chair and co-secretary/treasurer.
Before meeting (20-30 minutes before) starts, Washington Mutual (based at Tech Ridge) will have a table setup to answer questions any neighborhood leaders/residents may have, including promotion of programs/seminars it offers to area households.

PfCONA's efforts include being a clearinghouse of information for the Pflugerville community and to foster collaborative efforts, workgroups, and forums to develop solutions for the community. PfCONA, a network of 40 area neighborhoods, has been working for the community for the past 22 years and counting.
