PFLUGERVILLE COUNCIL OF NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATIONS* TIDBITS
Topics will be City Master Plan and new Residential Development guidelines being considered by Council, along with an update on noise ordinance revisions being considered, Claude's Corner development, and other developments. City Planning Director will be main speaker. The Mayor, a City Councilperson, City Manager, Chief of Police are scheduled to attend monthly. PISD/School Board has been asked to rotate sending a representative like council does. Mayor has said she will be unable to attend this month. April 11th Town Meeting will be a City Council Candidates Forum. PISD Candidates Forum to be scheduled separately.
March 19th Easter Festival from Noon to 2p at Heritage Park
Photos w/Easter Bunny, petting zoo, moonwalk, egg hunt: bring your own basket.
March 23rd Lunch with Mayor (originally scheduled for 3/16)
Being held at Mom's Cafe from 11:30a to 12:30pm or so in Windermere Plaza at W. Pecan and Windermere. It is an open forum and Q&A. Discussion will focus on Residential Policies being discussed by City Council.
April 7th - Last Day to Register to Vote for May 7th Elections (Council & PISD)
April 9th Bicycle Rodeo - sponsored by Pflugerville Police Department
17th annual event to be held at Pflugerville H.S. west parking lot at 1301 W. Pecan St. from 10a-2p. Free to the public. For kids of all ages. Free bike registration and Child ID. Loaner bike available for competing in contest. See law enforcement and fire dept. displays. Rain date is April 16th.
April 11th City Council Candidate Forum - hosted by PfCONA

Friday, 5p to 9p, music, dancing, food, moonwalk, movies.
Friday, April 29th: The 2nd Annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Pflugerville will be held at Park Crest Middle School
Contact Event Chairs, Wendye Mire, at 990-1847 or Trisha Smith 990-9083. Pflugerville Pflag will again be a sponsor and central point for teams to pick up packets, luminaria bags and brochures. Call Pflag at 251-2220 or stop by the office at 2nd/Main.
Last year's teams who raised $30,000 included Pflugerville residents, businesses, civic, school, churches, youth groups and Bunco groups. Teams, typically include 10-12 people that walk the track throughout the evening/night/early morning in support of the hope for a cure. [Source: Pflugerville Pflag]

May 15th PflugerGolf 2005 Tournament - sponsored by Pflugerville Downtown Association
Second annual tournament starts at 2pm at Star Ranch off FM 685. Portion of proceeds goes to Pflugerville Fallen Warrior Memorial that is planned at city park. May 20th - 22nd Deutschen Pfest - sponsored by Parks and Recreation
