Proposed Pfennig Ln/Black Locust Mixed Use Development (share with others)

Dear City Secretary,
This E-mail is to notify the city and PfCONA members/neighborhood leaders/contacts that PfCONA is supporting the involvement of neighborhoods, especially those surrounding a proposed development at northwest corner of Pfennig Ln. and Black Locust, in the process of giving public input/feedback to the Development Broker, the Planning & Zoning Commission, and the City Council.*

The Parkcrest, Arbor Creek, and Meadow Ridge subdivisions are closest to the proposed development and households from these and others interested in finding out more should consider going to a Developer Informational Meeting (open house) this Saturday, Feb. 5th, between 11am-3pm, at the property (see attached, at www.pfcona.org/images/Black Locust-PfennigLn-OpenHouseflyer020505.gif). It is also PfCONA's understanding that 350 flyers are going out to surrounding neighborhoods today.

A public hearing before the Planning and Zoning Commission will also occur on Feb. 7th, 7:00pm, at 100 E. Main, Ste. 500.

Future meetings will include, but are not limited to (and may change):

March 7th, Planning and Zoning to vote on approval or disapproval of land use change request, 7:00pm, at 100 E. Main, Ste. 500.

March 22nd, City Council Public Hearing, 7:00pm, at 100 E. Main, Ste. 500.

April 12th, City Council first reading to start approval process, 7:00pm, at 100 E. Main, Ste. 500.
